PERSONAL COACHING AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT The more I observe this sport, the more I believe riders don’t really know exactly what it is they are after. If you just enjoy riding it doesn’t matter, but if you are serious about performing to your potential you need a plan. I believe Ricky Carmichael has a plan and he sticks to it. I believe all the best and most consistent athletes have a plan. They know exactly what they are after and exactly what to do each day to get it. What I have come up with is a way of reaching a lot of riders regardless of where they live. I can only be in one place, but with the phone and Internet I can be everywhere most of the time. My goal is to help riders and their support group figure out what it is they want and then create a plan to get it. Most riders don’t have the money or the access to a Jeff Spencer or Eldon Baker, two of the most popular trainers in the business.
