MX Dreams
I wrote this in September of 1974 as part of a project I had to do
for school and it cracked me up so I wanted to share it. I’m not sure who didn’t show up for our final game of the season, but I decided early on I wanted to be in control of the outcome, so I said goodbye to team sports and directed all my effort to motocross. Judging from my three wishes, I made the right choice. It would be nice to be a littler smarter and richer, but reaching number one in motocross was a pretty big accomplishment and proof that dreams come true.
