A MUST SEE FILM
One Chance To Win is a rare and unfiltered look into the 500cc National Motocross Series in 1975 when the tide officially turned and American motocross was done racing for second behind the Europeans. The film takes fans back to the genesis of our sport long before semis and entourages when 500s still ruled the world. An incredible championship battle that had five riders, two continents, and American pride on the line until the last lap of the final moto in one of the most dramatic championship battles our sport has ever seen. This footage was rescued from oblivion and the story deserves to be told by the men that were in New Orleans that fateful September day, back in 1975.
I can't wait to see this film! I lived at Lake Sugar Tree, which hosted the third round of the series where Brad Lackey joined in the fight and won the overall on a Husky! It was a great time for MX. Europeans were starting to make careers here in the US, works bikes were a huge attraction and these dynamic men raced for 90 minutes in dust with pride. For anyone interested in MX's roots, Hall of Famer's and a time when respect and raw racing overshadowed the semi spoiled rock star scene today, this is your chance to see a great film and then mingle with the riders who where part of it all.
