ALL-STAR EXTRAVAGANZA COUNTDOWN
Hello everyone, I wanted to give you all an update since you have been so supportive of me over the years and especially in past couple of months. After 6 months of getting nowhere, I finally had a breakthrough. I was beginning to lose my faith in the medical system, but as of right now, I’m in good hands. I have a long way to go, but at least I know I'm going the right direction. Thank you all for your donations and concern. It has taken the pressure off and allowed my family to research things more clearly. I don’t think I’ll be doing another Ironman, but I do believe I’ll be in good enough health to return to a few races next year to meet some of you in person and thank you for being another good reason to never give up!

As far as my Extravaganza the day after the Glen Helen national, things are taking shape. Some really cool items to be auctioned that night at Pole Position are coming in and I will be posting them as I get photos. The poster I have up now is a piece that Greg Primm had made for me. I don’t have much of my MX stuff in my possession anymore, but I can’t wait to get my hands on one of those! It was done by Jim Hatch and I’ll be sharing more with you about this print after the event. He also did a shirt for In-N-Out burger and they sold 75,000 of them. Check out his website.

The top riders in for the school at Cahuilla Creek are:

Gary Bailey…duh!
Travis Pastrana
Ryan Hughes
Jeremy McGrath
Andrew Short
Rick Johnson
Ivan Tedesco
David Vuilemin

That line up right there is a chance of a lifetime for any rider and there will be more showing up to ride and hang out. Plus, the whole thing is a tax write off. You can’t beat that! There are around 50 riders already signed up, so unless you live in Antartica and don’t like motocross you better hurry. Go to > garybailey.com to register.

Here’s a special thanks to the guys at BBR who built that mini bike! Thanks you guys, that thing is awesome. If you haven’t seen it yet, check out > racerxill.com

Stay tuned for more. This is the place to look for more info on the event as well as any auction items that come in with photos. I just learned that Monster is in for two mini refrigerators and one of them comes with 24 cases of Monster! If you drink it all at once, you might be able to keep up with Villapoto for a couple turns before flying off the track like Vuillemin in the Millville whoops. Sorry DV, but that was funny. I would like to congratulate him on a his 2nd overall, for the ride day he arranged for me last week AND for making me laugh some more for fist pumping after making it up that muddy hill through all the traffic!
