WHAT'S GOIN' ON
After the way last week turned out I thought this sign fit. I flew threw the air with my son on a 4-stroke out at Elsinore and Ricky Carmichael lost a points lead! Weird stuff.

I never truly thought I would ride like that again, but thanks to Ricky James and his desire to ride it happened. I’ve been on jacks ever since with some broken ribs and some other internal stuff, BUT IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT! I’ll just have to be a little more careful next time now that I’m an old guy.

I want to express how much I appreciate the email you all have been sending. I can’t sit up and answer it all yet, but I have read it. Thanks a lot everyone. I’m doing better each day and I’m working on a column for the next RacerX to get back in the swing of things.

Congratulations to Chad Reed and Davi Millsaps for their wins last weekend. I’m really glad RC is in one piece after that scary fall in the HOOPS. I don’t like to see that stuff happen, but for the fans, the series is really exciting now. Plenty of time for RC and James to catch up, but will Chad allow it? I’ve been in Chad’s position before and a win like that can do a lot for you. Watching those three has been a treat this season. I’m also very impressed with Tedesco. Either RC is a good teammate or Ivan is paying very close attention or maybe both. Either way he has made it even better at the front and proven that the jump to the big class can be done successfully. Now bring on Kevin Windham.

One last thought; here’s to James Marshall continuing to improve!
