1974 125cc Pursang to CR500 Honda
That little kid in my last post was a shot of me back in 1974. Here is another shot from that day, which was during a school my dad taught near Jacksonville Florida. I’m wearing stretchy football pants, no gloves and running Goodyear tires on that 125 Bultaco Pursang. That track hosted the Mini Olympics and it was there that I first saw Jeff Ward in person. He looked like a full factory Honda rider only he was riding XR75’s.

The other picture is from a photo shoot for the 1987 Honda press kit out in Yucca Valley. I thought the comparison was kind of cool.
